Eno Murdars Medikal In Hitz FM Rap Battle

Well, after their little back and forth the two rappers both found themselves in Hit FM studios for separate interviews when they were asked to freestyle.

We recently reported on Ghanaian rapper Medikal finally addressing Eno Barony’s many jabs at her and calling him Sista Afia’s ghost rapper.

He called her a corpse and said he’s saddened with the disrespect from Eno because he has done free features for her in the past.

Hitz FM put the freestyle sessions of the two rappers in on one video asking their followers “who rapped better?” …surprisingly or unsurprisingly it seems the fans loved Eno’s flow better as they voted her winner.

Medikal is just a small boy and not a man’ Amerado Spills Some Hard Truth

Ghanaian hip-pop rapper Amerado has taken the bold step to call a spade a spade by stating emphatically that rapper Medikal is just a young boy who is more respected because he’s married.

According to him in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Medikal is now more respected than usual because he’s married and not that he’s a man. He said this while reacting to a question of Abeiku Santana whether Medikal is part of the older people in the rap game who aren’t giving the young ones the opportunity to shine.

But was quick enough to add that Medikal is their age mate therefore he saying he’s a small boy isn’t an insult or an attack on him.

With Stonebwoy sitting down and Shatta Wale standing, the two engaged in an argument with others joining. After that, they laughed heartily with the rest of the people around. Moments after, the two were seen outside the mansion exchanging pleasantries with the people around. Stonebwoy later jumped onto a motorbike which was parked around and sparked it while Shatta Wale stood. Sitting on his motorbike Stonebwoy could be heard shouting hungry nation while Shatta Wale who was standing cheered him on and even joined in shouting the hungry nation slogan. It is not yet known why the two visited the 4Syte Mansion.

Celebrities react to colleague getting sacked for arriving late for an interview

Some celebrities have taken to social media to react to the way a presenter called out KiDi for being late to an interview.

According to the presenter, the ‘Say Cheese‘ hitmaker arrived 25 minutes after 11 am – the scheduled time for the interview.

Although KiDi apologised to the host and listeners, Nana Romeo said time was far spent, and hence would not do the The host’s actions has generated a discussion among Ghanaians with some holding an opinion that KiDi could have been reprimanded off-air. Others were however of the view that the action by the presenter was necessary and in the right direction.

But it seems it’s not only music lovers and fans of KiDi who are bothered about the incident which has been trending on Twitter.

For movie producer Peter Sedufia, while the incident may be an unfortunate one it is also an opportunity for both guests and hosts to treat each other with respect. According to him, radio stations have also faulted when it comes to starting interviews or shows. 

He stated instances where up and coming artistes have arrived on time for various interviews only for it to be canceled.

“We’re all in this together to create a thriving industry. Let’s respect appointment times and treat each other with maximum respect.” But for Comedian Clemento Suarez, it is unfortunate that after the artiste apologised to the host, he was still walked out of the studio without the interview being granted. That was very disappointing and I don’t think even your fellow presenters are happy about what you did.

“Sometimes some of us get impromptu calls for shows and we try our best to meet the appointment. We don’t come on air to complain.”

“Your guest is late and its left with 35mins, 35 minutes paaaaaa and you can’t interview KiDi, KiDi oo please, please. Na performance for shows koraaa will KiDi perform for 35mins?? We deserve an apology. That was not fair at all.” For musician, EL, regardless of the history between KiDi and the host, a more private approach should have been taken to address the issue. Rapper Cj Biggerman admits KiDi is at fault but just like EL he holds the opinion that confrontation by the host could have been done off-air. He also praised KiDi for not reacting when the host was speaking. YouTuber Malik Ofori wrote, “so the presenter no know say KiDi be the girl them sugar, the kid almost cried! he’s a bully.” Adding her opinion, actress Lydia Forson insists the issue of time is not only related to artistes but to shows as well. 

According to her, while she does not support tardiness, the presenter did not handle the issue professionally.

Nigerians know how to push their artist internationally than Ghanaians...Stonebwoy

Most Ghanaians don’t know the worth of international awards.nigeria and Ghana are sister countries but if you go into detail, you will realize that most Nigerian artist are doing better than Ghana . We have had lot of Nigerian artist who got their shine in Ghana or in other words, were made by Ghana but we are yet to see a Ghanaian artist which will be made known by Nigeria. It about time for that to come to past

We do things and not include any of this great people people. We organize programs and honor this new generation but there is none honoring this great once’s.why should it be so ??. The One Week Celebration which is currently being observed at Lakeside Estate at Ashalley Botwe in Accra., few celebrities were seen wearing Nose Masks. Just to mention a few, I saw the Empress Nana Ama McBrown, Christiana Awuni, Maame Serwaa, Oboy Frank Naro, Vivian Jill , Sumsum Ahuofe and Many more Empress Nana Ama McBrown wearing her Nose Masks greeting the family of Late Bishop Bernard Nyarko Oboy Frank Nara.

Christiana Awuni who was seated could not hold her tears as she cried all through their time in the hall.

President Nana Addo reportedly flies ‘stucked‘ Sarkodie from USA back to Ghana amid closure of borders (video)

Few days past when Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie called on President Akuffo-Addo to open the borders of Ghana for its citizens stuck abroad to return home.

Sarkodie said it will even be helpful if the President can open the borders for just a day or two. Sarkodie’s comment comes after the President lifted the partial lockdown imposed on Accra, Tema and some parts of Kumasi to contain the spread of COVID-19.

He took to social media to make a plea to Nana Addo whilst lauding the government for the good work done so far in fighting the coronavirus in Ghana.
